Our School

Netherhall St. James is a good and highly regarded school which serves a multi-cultural community that is situated close to the centre of Huddersfield. We are part of Netherhall Learning Campus and proud to be a Church of England (VC) school with our distinctive Christian vision “Learning together in God’s love.” Children are at the heart of every decision made at Netherhall, and the Christian values of Respect, Love, Trust and Compassion are lived out by the children, staff and governors.

What we are looking for

We are seeking an inspirational, innovative, and dynamic Head of School to lead our high performing team, to maintain and improve our excellent standards and achievements for the benefit of our children, due to the retirement of our current Head of School after three successful years in post and 21 years at the school.

You will be passionate about teaching and learning and will have the drive and commitment to inspire and enthuse our children, staff, and parents. You will be a spiritual leader who will support and further develop our Christian vision and ethos, working with the Diocese and our Campus, building on positive, collaborative, relationships across our local community.

We will provide a strong, experienced, and welcoming staff team, a committed and skilful Governing Body and wonderful children who flourish in the atmosphere of engaging, exciting learning opportunities in our safe, secure and caring environment.
