Assistant Head Teacher - Honley CE (VC) J I & N School

The Governing Body at Honley C.E. (V.C.) Junior, Infant and Nursery School is seeking to  appoint an ambitious, innovative and inspirational leader who will make a significant contribution to our vibrant learning community and leadership team. This post has become available due to the promotion of the current post holder to another school.  

Honley CE (VC) JIN is an ‘all-through’ school educating children and young people from 2-11 years old. We are proud that we are a community that works together to inspire, nurture and develop one another.   

The primary phase is two form entry with classes from Nursery to Year 6. As a team we are determined to provide the best possible education to our pupils. We are an inclusive school, both in terms of our intake and the education and support we want to offer to pupils of all backgrounds, to help them reach their true potential.  

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to lead KS2, who will provide the strategic overview, leadership and development of high-quality educational provision associated with ensuring that all learners are challenged to achieve and exceed their potential. 

We are looking for someone with an outstanding track record of primary teaching and leading effective school improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, skilled and dedicated to ensure our children receive the very best learning experiences.
