Lunchtime Supervisor (x2) – Ravensthorpe CE (VC) Junior School

Ravensthorpe CE (VC) Junior School is a four-form entry school situated in an ethnically and religiously diverse community. We are very proud of the progress that all of our pupils make during their time with us which is evidenced in our excellent SATs results over recent years.

The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint two Lunchtime Supervisors to join our team. We are looking for someone who will be able to support our children while they eat their lunch, ensuring the children are safe, healthy and happy. The role also involves supervising the children while playing outside, supporting them to develop positive peer relationships, leading team games and promoting positive behaviour. 

We are seeking a friendly and approachable person who will:

• support the pupils to develop positive friendships
• help to develop social skills through play and promote children’s physical and emotional wellbeing
• be dedicated and patient
• be able to work effectively with pupils and within a team of other staff members
