Educational Support Assistant - Crossley Fields J & I School

ETA – Grade 5

26 hours Tues – Friday term time only.

Working pattern: Tuesday – Friday 8:15am – 3:15pm with 30 mins lunch

Required asap fixed term to 31st August 2026

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated member of staff to work as part of a team supporting children across Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, with Special Educational Needs.   

If you have:

• experience working in a school or early years setting (ideally with children with special educational needs)
• the ability to stay calm and resilient when supporting children who display heightened emotions;
• the ability to develop positive relationships with children, families, professionals and colleagues;
• excellent communication skills and can act as a good role model for spoken English;
• the ability to support children with intimate care and to develop their independent self-care skills.
