Are you looking for the first step in your Social Work career? We welcome applications from committed and enthusiastic newly qualified social workers within their ASYE and final year students due to qualify in 2020.

  • The social work teams are now close to full complement and all leadership and management posts are filled with permanent staff.
  • Advanced Practitioners provide more support for social workers and more focus on developing practice.
  • Working in locality teams and building effective relationships with partners.
  • A remuneration package which reflects the challenges of the role.

Travel is an essential part of this job and therefore it would be extremely difficult for you to do your job effectively if you did not use a car for all or most of the time. It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence and it is expected that you will either use a council vehicle or your own car.
