Educational Teaching Assistant (ETA)/SEMH Mentor - Holmfirth High School
Holmfirth High School is looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking Teaching Assistant who will support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
You will be required to work on both a 1:1, group and in class basis supporting the pupils in all aspects of school life.
This is a challenging opportunity for a well-motivated and caring person who will work as part of the learning support team to support the learning and welfare of students with special educational needs, most specifically SEMH.
Applicants must:
• Have experience of working with students with SEMH needs
• Be committed to supporting every child in their care to reach their potential demonstrating positivity and unconditional positive regard
• Understand the importance that team work plays in a school and be enthusiastic to work with and learn from others
• Work hard and have excellent time management skills
• Have good interpersonal skills with the ability to encourage and inspire colleagues and students, working with parents as partners in their child’s education.
