An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Kirklees Youth and Play Work Team.

If you are aged 16 and over you can apply for an apprenticeship with us. Please read the eligibility criteria.

The apprenticeship scheme will help you to develop your career in Youth and Play Work. You will support Youth and Play Work teams by assisting in the many aspects of our work. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to observe, shadow and work alongside our Youth and Play Workers, delivering excellent services for children and young people.  Developing your own leadership and coaching skills whilst studying for a level 3 Award.

The work will involve working in outdoor street-based Detached Youth Work Settings. While working predominantly in this setting, there will be opportunities to occasionally work within the Play Work Team at Crow Nest Park, Dewsbury.
