Relevant enhancements

As a Support Worker you will work shifts on a 7 day rota system including weekends and Public Holidays. The earliest start will be 7.00am and the latest finish will be 10.00pm.

Castle Grange is a purpose built home registered to provide 24 hour residential and respite care, both short and long stay, for adults who suffer from dementia. Staff are trained to treat residents whose diagnosis of dementia means that they need extra support and understanding.

You will support and assist service users through development and control of practical living skills including preparing meals, doing laundry, as well as maintaining their personal hygiene and developing their understanding of social interaction and relationships. 

It is essential that you have a high level of understanding of Adult Social Care. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional training and development and possess a basic awareness of both health and safety issues and food hygiene.
