In Kirklees we are focused on outcomes more than process and believe that to achieve the best outcomes for local citizens we need to be thinking “People, Place, Partners” and “working with rather than doing to.” We have a significant programme of investment in the physical infrastructure of our towns and villages that builds on our rich history. We are committed to an inclusive Kirklees and to ensuring that everyone benefits from improved outcomes.
We are looking for an innovative and knowledgeable senior professional to join our leadership team with strong experience of working in the education community who understands their role in the relationship between the local authority, schools and learning settings and with a passion for improving outcomes for children and young people in Kirklees.
As the new Head of Education Relationships and Business, you will have strategic responsibility for the Council’s approach to working in partnership with schools and learning settings. The post will be key in enhancing our partnerships and business relationships.
You will need a proven track record that demonstrates your ability to build relationships and influence with credibility at all levels in the education sector underpinned by a depth of knowledge of local authority statutory responsibilities and strategic governance arrangements.
