Enjoy working with data & Geographical Information Systems [GIS]? Enjoy managing and integrating systems to make data useable? Then, we want to hear from you!

We are looking to fill an exciting role in the Intelligence & Performance Service in Kirklees Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for our Web GIS platform, our internal web mapping tool and be the technical lead in developing our spatial database and spatial metadata. You will be responsible for our product licenses, upgrades and use across the authority. You will also be a key point of contact with our IT & Web Services and be responsible for making our spatial data work for our customers as well as our Streets and Land & Property Gazetteers. You will be the key liaison contact for Ordnance Survey data and will be familiar with handling this data under the Public Sector Geo-spatial Agreement.

You will need super problem solving skills to work with multiple departments to support their technical spatial needs and required system integration.
