The Development Team within Kirklees Homes and Neighbourhoods is offering an exciting opportunity to broaden your experience in supporting the delivery of a multi-million pound targeted housing growth strategy.

We are looking for a proactive, dynamic and organised Technical Assistant to join our Development Team delivering the following functions:

  • The long-term pipeline to purchase and refurbish approximately 40 existing homes per year under programmes which include Council’s buyback scheme
  • The building of new affordable council homes per year
  • Management of non-HRA properties under QSH, PGIM/PACE and KNH Living management agreements

The post holder will work with colleagues across the organisation in line with KNH’s core behaviours and values and contribute to the delivery of the organisation’s purpose, vision and objectives, ensuring positive outcomes for the business and Kirklees Homes and Neighbourhoods customers.

You will also work in partnership with and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders – private tenants and landlords, vendors, estate agents, developers and consultants as well as our internal stakeholders.
