The Team

This role is essential in managing the busy business support and finance function within the Child Protection Review Unit. You will be responsibility for line managing eight Business Support Officers and supporting the quality assurance activities of the unit. You will need a proactive approach and have both drive and enthusiasm.

The Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Provision of specialist technical administrative support and advice.
  • Resolution of complex problems and queries (within statutory timeframes).
  • Processing data (adaptations, development, input and retrieval).
  • Management of workflow within the team.
  • Management of a team.
  • Facilities and building management.
  • Individual supervision and development of staff.
  • Undertake specific projects and research as directed.
  • Information and records management.
  • Analysis and production of management information.
  • Purchasing of supplies and services.
  • Liaising with managers, colleagues across Directorates and external agencies as appropriate.
  • Knowledge and Experience in the use of Liquidlogic (desirable).
