Grade 11 & 12 (Appointment will be made at either Grade 11 or 12 depending on your skills/knowledge/experience.)
Grade 11 £37,261 - £39,493 & Grade 12 £40,478 - £42,503
A retention payment of £3000 per year applies to this job and is split into two payments, in December and June. This is reviewed annually. You become eligible for the payment after 6 months employment and successful completion of your probationary period.

The advertised role forms part of the Council’s Capital Development, Delivery and Technical Services team.

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in undertaking detailed building condition inspections/surveys and providing detailed technical and design specifications and contract documentation for different work packages, managing, and monitoring external consultants and contractors this along with excellent communication skills and with a proven track record in delivering and managing condition/repair programs and portfolios of projects from inception through to completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated individuals with highly developed interpersonal, organisational and negotiation skills, who are prepared to work flexibly and as part of a team, in a high profile and demanding environment, working to tight deadlines, along with good programme and project management experience respective to the role.

Individuals must be able to travel independently to and from locations away from the office such as construction sites or consultant’s offices. In addition, individuals need to be able to visit construction sites, and be able to ascend and descend scaffolding as an example, on accompanied visits.
