Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher seeking a new challenge?

Are you looking to take on more responsibilities and take the next step in your career?

The Head Teacher and Governors are looking for a KS2 phase leader who will be able to lead a team successfully and help to raise attainment.  You will need to have at least 3 years experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 and be passionate about bringing the classroom to life!

You will have dedicated leadership and management time to fulfil this role which will include having responsibility for the continued development of the Foundation curriculum and the Pupil Premium plan.

You will:

  • Be an inspirational classroom practitioner who has high expectations of themselves and others and is passionate about all children achieving success
  • Be experienced in teaching in KS2 and have an outstanding knowledge of curriculum content for KS2. You will have the ability to lead others in securing successful learning for all children.
  • Have excellent positive behaviour management skills including knowledge of de-escalation and/or emotion coaching.
  • Have an ability to differentiate for a wide range of pupils in your class including creating personalised learning for pupils with SEN needs.
  • Be a team player and a good leader
  • Have first class communication skills
  • Have the ability to lead a core subject. (An ability to lead RE would be an advantage but is not essential).
  • Have DSL training or willing to undertake DSL training
  • Have a positive commitment to the vision, ethos and values of a Church of England School
