This vacancy is a 12-Month Secondment Opportunity.

The role of Passenger Transport team manager covers a wide variety of duties to ensure that the team operates a transport service which works within legal and policy guidelines. You will advise on and oversee the procurement, management and delivery of transport provision on behalf of other Council services including for people with learning difficulties and disabilities accessing adult day care services, Post 16 college provision, after school and holiday clubs, respite and short breaks, and also transport for children and young people in the care of the local authority to and from school. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record of management experience, and the ability to deal with complex situations and decision making in a fast-paced environment.
