THIS ROLE IS INTERNALLY RESTRICTED

We have three available posts, please specify your preference clearly in your application form.

1 x 16.98 hours per week, permanent post. Salary is £10,434 plus market rate supplement. Working at Tolson Museum, Ravensknowle Park, Wakefield Road, Moldgreen, Huddersfield, HD5 8DJ. 

1 x 15 hours per week, fixed term post until 31/03/2025. Salary is £9,217 plus market rate supplement. Working at Oakwell Hall, Oakwell Nutter Lane, Birstall, Batley, WF17 9LF. 

1 x 8.49 hours per week, fixed term post until 31/03/2025. Salary is £5,217 plus market rate supplement. Working at Oakwell Hall, Oakwell Nutter Lane, Birstall, Batley, WF17 9LF.

You will have the opportunity to work in our one of our amazing Museums or Art Gallery, between them welcoming over 300,000 visitors annually.

Welcome Officers play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of customer care with a family friendly focus while ensuring the security and cleanliness of our museums, working in the shops and assisting with a wide variety of events and activities. 

You will need to be an effective communicator and have previous experience of dealing with the public, for example, providing information, advice or sales.
