To commence as soon as possible on a fixed term basis subject to the future budgetary provision or the operational needs of the school.  It is not expected to go beyond 31st August 2020.

Meltham CE School is a large, friendly and happy school in the small town of Meltham. The successful candidate would become a member of, and be well supported by, a large and welcoming staff team. We are looking for someone who can develop positive relationships with children and staff. You would also need to be hard working and dedicated; and may have experience in leading children’s interventions in school.

We invite applications from suitable candidates to work predominantly with our Year 3 classes. The role will involve supporting the behaviour and learning of children within the classroom and will also include one to one support. In addition you will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons to a whole class in the absence of a class teacher, throughout school.

The position is for 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.45am to 3.30pm. Please note that candidates will be selected on the strength of their recent and relevant experience in relation to the specified role.
