Business Support Officer - Meltham CE Primary School
We are looking for a Business Support Officer (BSO) to join our school's business support team.
Business support plays a key role in supporting schools to deliver high quality services. We are looking for a BSO who can provide a confidential secretarial and administrative support service to the school. Ideally, you should have attained RSA II, a level 2 NVQ qualification (or equivalent) or have an equivalent level of work experience.
Role responsibilities include:
- Provide a friendly, professional and customer-focused reception service
- Produce letters
- Maintain school records
You will liaise with staff and members of the public, outside agencies and parents to gather, receive or exchange information to provide a fast and effective service.
It is essential that you have the numeracy and literacy skills to undertake basic reports and perform simple calculations. You will also have the ability to contribute to the effective working of a team as well on an individual basis. You should also be able to produce accurate work whilst working to tight deadlines.
The hours can be worked over Thursday and Friday mornings or all day Friday.
