Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Huddersfield Grammar School.

An exciting opportunity exists to join one of the leading independent schools in West Yorkshire, from January 2021.

Huddersfield Grammar School seeks a highly-organised, efficient and effective Science Technician to work throughout the Senior School. The successful candidate will have some experience of working within a scientific environment, ideally within a school, and will work effectively both individually and as part of a team.

The postholder will be supported in this part-time role (0.5) by our current Senior Science Technician, with working hours to be agreed with the successful candidate.

Huddersfield Grammar School is thriving, and its Senior School comprises of nearly 300 students, from Years 7-11, with classes sizes limited to a maximum of 20 pupils per class – and even smaller once pupils undertake their GCSE studies. The School has also won national recognition when awarded the Independent School’s Association ‘Successful Change Management’ Award.
