The Governors, Headteacher, staff and pupils at St Thomas CE (VC) Primary School are looking to appointment a Business Support Officer to provide administrative support to the school under the direction of the Headteacher and School Business Manager.

The successful candidate must be able to work effectively and compassionately with a variety of professionals across our large primary school as part of the admin support team.

Key responsibility areas are:

  • finance
  • administration
  • general duties which may be required to fulfil the role

Essential skills include:

  • working on your own initiative
  • strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • good interpersonal skills
  • effective team worker
  • flexible/adaptable
  • experience of office work in the last 3 years
  • computer literate: Microsoft Office, email, databases and IT systems.

Previous experience of working within school administration is desirable, but not essential.
