The Team

The Corporate Facilities Management Team provides a Facilities Management function for all Council buildings and land (except housing); from office accommodation, Public Buildings and Schools to libraries and playing fields plus many more. It’s their job to ensure that these assets are safe, secure and suitable for their intended use and provide a comprehensive and effective service on all aspects of facilities management and asset compliance.

The Person

This is a broad and exciting role covering various aspects of Facilities Management and Compliance. As you will be responsible for a portfolio of work you will need excellent organisation skills, be comfortable multi-tasking and have great time management skills. You will have regular contact with internal and external customers so you will also need to be an excellent communicator and be able to manage customer expectations.

An understanding of Health and Safety in relation to Asset/Facilities Management is essential for this role.
