Ings Grove House provide Intermediate care and transitional support for people following a stay in hospital or a period of acute illness. Our multi-disciplinary team, work with individuals to support their rehabilitation and promote their independence.

We have a highly skilled, compassionate staff team that gives person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice and independence.

We are looking for an enthusiastic domestic to join our team.

You will work as part of a team and complete cleaning duties in accordance to work plans to ensure the home is kept clean and tidy and Infection is prevented and controlled. Work will be completed in accordance with Health and Safety guidance and building check will be undertaken to ensure the environment is safe.

Our domestic team provide essential support to ensure that individual needs are met, and people are provided with a clean, hygienic and comfortable environment throughout their stay

You will work a rota of early (7.45 to 2.45pm) and late (12noon to 6pm) shifts on a 4 week rota, working alternate weekends and including Public Holidays for which the relevant enhancements will be paid.

You may be required to undertake some physical support for people who may have physical, visual or hearing difficulties. Any support you are required to do will be under the direction of a senior member of staff.

You should have the ability to demonstrate literacy skills in order to read and follow instructions and an understanding of practical hygiene and infection control issues relating to the kitchen and other areas.

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required for this job. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
