We are seeking to appoint a Counsellor for our school. The post would suit an experienced qualified counsellor seeking to expand their counselling expertise. The role is offered on a permanent basis working 24 hours per week over 4 days 08.30-3pm Monday-Thursday; however, the successful candidate will need to be flexible with these hours to meet the needs of the School.

The successful applicants will provide a high quality confidential counselling service for students and staff in accordance with BACP guidelines within the Wellbeing Centre. The post holder must hold a recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convey empathy and relate well to all members of the school and the wider community.
