As an Apprentice Co-Ordinator for the Kirklees Apprenticeships for All project you will have responsibility for supporting new apprentices joining Kirklees Council by providing IAG and pastoral care as they manage work and study. You will manage the levy account and provide match spending evidence for the project. Supporting the many departments of the council including our schools to recruit and retain apprentices will be a vital part of this role.

Reduced hours and flexible working patterns will be considered for this role which will be predominately home-based.

You will ideally have a Level 3 IAG qualification and experience of providing support and guidance to employees. With strengths in teamworking, communication and bringing out the best in others – this role would suit someone with a background in HR, Careers or Apprenticeship Advisory work.

Kirklees Apprenticeships for All is a ground-breaking multi-million pound project which aims to upskill the workforce of Kirklees through apprenticeships in Kirklees to be delivered until December 2023.

Employers in the district will receive support to use apprenticeships for skills planning, retraining staff and to achieve a high performing workforce. The project will aim to create quality training opportunities at all levels and age group within the workforce, especially those who feel left behind.
