Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Kevin Pearce Children's Centre.

North Halifax Partnership is a community-led charity with a purpose to support individuals from cradle to grave, and to carry out activities which relieve poverty and disadvantage, promote health and wellbeing, and strengthen communities.

We deliver children’s centres and family support services; a Staying Well service to tackle loneliness and isolation; Ovenden and Mixenden Initiative help people into employment and training, provide youth activity and diversionary projects and deliver activities that make the community safer, cleaner, greener and more cohesive.

We are looking to appoint an individual with a strong customer focus to provide friendly and efficient administrative support and help ensure the smooth running of the projects of the Ovenden and Mixenden Initiative (OMI) and Staying Well programmes.

The role involves:

  • Providing a friendly welcoming service to service users and stakeholders
  • Assisting with the organisation’s internal communications through administration of databases, triage of enquiries and preparing documents for meetings.
  • Undertaking service evaluation surveys over the telephone
  • Maintaining appropriate records and data standards to ensure information is organised and evaluated effectively in adherence to the Data Protection Act.

It is essential that you have at least 2 years’ experience delivering excellent customer service working in a paid or voluntary capacity for an organisation with a lot of direct customer contact.
