We have many roles available and it is anticipated that you will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:45 to 1:45 pm, during Term Time

This Primary School Cook role sits within the Kirklees Catering team. As Primary School Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting in excess of 200 main meals and sweet items, while providing a high-quality customer-focused service in your school. We know that providing delicious and nourishing meals for children is essential to help to give them the best start in life. This might be the main meal of the day for some children, and you will ensure they have access to balanced, healthy food. In addition to providing the service on a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in providing theme days and other events. We hold several functions throughout the year such the Christmas carol concert, the local pensioners Christmas meal, teachers Christmas lunch. You will have the input to create new and exciting dishes from around the world, educating the students  through food. You must have flair & your own “want to” attitude towards these exciting menus and maybe even try something new yourself!
