Activity Support Assistant - Lunchtime Supervision - Lydgate J & I School

Lydgate Junior and Infant School is a multi-cultural school that lies at the heart of a supportive and diverse community in Soothill, Batley.

To commence ASAP, we wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to be part of our committed and engaging lunchtime team. This is initially a Fixed Term post until 31st March 2025, we are hoping for it to continue after this date.

We are fortunate to have an excellent learning environment in a beautiful setting and we work hard to provide engaging play for our pupils.

We are looking for someone who:

• Will be a dynamic and proactive lunchtime supervisor.
• Can build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Has high expectations of behaviour.
• Can motivate, engage and inspire all children.
• Is able to work well as part of a team.

The ability to relate to children/young people from diverse backgrounds is essential for this job, as well as having good verbal communication skills in order to liaise with children and other staff members.
