Business Support Officer - Ravenshall School
Are you friendly, enthusiastic and well organised? We are looking for a hardworking person who is all of these things, to join our dedicated team of Business Support Officers.
The successful candidate will:
- Have an excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Be conscientious, efficient, honest and friendly
- Have good general administrative skills, including experience of a range of ICT packages and basic office skills
- Be able to multi task
- Be able to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Our Business Support Team is dedicated to ensuring that the day-by-day operations of the school run smoothly. You will be a valuable part of achieving this.
Duties will be varied and will include welcoming visitors as they arrive in school, keeping the school diary up to date, updating pupil records, preparing rooms ahead of meetings and generally assisting in the day-to-day work of our very busy office.
Full training on the IT packages used in school will be provided but a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word is essential.
A positive attitude to hard work and adaptability will be essential.

The working day will start at 8:15am finishing at 4:30pm on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 3:15pm on Thursday and 4:00pm on Friday. The hours are term time plus 5 Inset days and 5 additional days to be worked during the school holidays.
