PPA Cover / Job Share Teacher: 0.40 FTE

 This is a temporary post to cover a secondment commencing September 2024 until August 2025.  Days to be negotiated.

Spring Grove School is an outstanding, multi-cultural school that lies at the heart of a supportive and diverse community in central Huddersfield.  We wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to supplement our excellent team. This post will be suitable for a teacher in the early stages of their career but not an ECT. 

You will need to:

  • be an excellent classroom practitioner
  • have experience of teaching across KS1/2
  • be a professional who inspires all children
  • have high expectations for standards of achievement, progress and behaviour
  • have a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate
  • be an excellent role model
  • be ambitious for yourself and the school
  • be prepared to be regularly observed by others (as a National Support School, we are expected to provide models of excellent teaching for others to learn from)
