At Moor End Academy the ADT department consists of specialist classrooms including a Product Design Workshop, Art and Design studio, CAD/CAM multi-use room with photography space, IT suite, Textiles room and 2 Food rooms. The Department has 6 teaching staff and 1 technician, the department is growing and we look forward to welcoming an additional technician to our team.  

The successful candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time, as the department increases the subjects it delivers. We are forward thinking, solution focussed and passionate to ensure that all students have a full experience of the range of materials in this subject area. Additional technician support is vital in the development of this. 

We are seeking to recruit a technician who will work predominantly in Art, Craft, Design, Textiles and Photography. The successful candidate must have an interest in working with young people and supporting teaching staff in their role. The role will entail a variety of responsibilities including setting up classrooms, organising resources and equipment, ordering, maintenance and help support the day to day running of the department.  

As a technician you will have opportunities to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are ambitious in the outcomes for their students.
