Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of The GORSE Academies Trust.

Start Date: August 2020.

The appointment is subject to a six-month probationary period.

We seek to appoint a driven, highly skilled and customer focussed IT professional for the role of Senior IT Technician. The successful candidate will take a very committed stance on ensuring that IT Services are safe, secure, and robust, whilst maintaining flexible, friendly and strong working relationships with all stakeholders. The position will be predominately based out of The Stephen Longfellow Academy where the successful candidate will be the primary IT Support for the academy Staff and Students, the successful candidate will also provide support to other academies where required.

The IT Services team support all academies within The GORSE Academies trust allowing all members of the team to share knowledge and best practice effectively. With the support of the newly formed Infrastructure and Development team all academies will have continued development of IT systems and services and the opportunity for personal CPD.
