We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Educational Teaching Assistant to join our Trust, based at Batley Girls' High School.

The hours of work are Monday-Friday 08.15am-3.15pm. The successful candidate will work as part of a team including teaching and other support staff to support the learning and welfare of student/learners. This will include the provision of practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and integration.

The successful applicant will have significant previous experience of working with children/young people, have excellent numeracy and literacy skills and be educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent). NVQ 3 for Teaching assistants or equivalent qualifications would be preferable, as would previous experience of assisting classroom teachers in delivering the curriculum and supporting students’ learning in a school setting. Experience with planning and delivering specific targeted interventions is desirable.
