This post is based at Flint Street/Home working.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our busy Planning and Technical support team in Homes and Neighbourhoods.

We provide a Contracts and Services maintenance programme to approximately 23000 KC Council properties in addition to a range of KC Commercial properties.

The role requires use of internal planning functions using an electronic diary management system to schedule and dispatch work to operatives in relation to a range of trades.

You will be required to have effective keyboard and IT skills; ability to access a variety of IT systems to retrieve, edit and input information.

You should have excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with our customers clients and stakeholders.

The role includes:

Updating records to keep all information current and appropriate databases whilst adhering to strict rules around GDPR.

Answer incoming calls in a professional effective and efficient manner aiming to fully resolve specific and general enquiries relating to a range of service areas.

Working to strict deadlines for works to be carried out for all customers and clients.

Rescheduling appointments into the diary systems liaising with operatives and notifying customers of any changes.

A good understanding of the Health and Safety at work policies.

You should hold a GCSE or equivalent in maths and English or an equivalent qualification.
