Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Royds Hall.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Pastoral and Attendance Department, working with the Attendance Officer. This role will deliver comprehensive administrative support to the department and work with families to support them in overcoming barriers and issues affecting their child’s attendance at school. This is a caring role which makes a real impact, enabling children to access the education they are entitled to enabling them achieve, succeed and live happy and healthy lives. It is a busy and vibrant office with a fast paced and varied workload. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for the next step in their career.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent; 
  • Encourage, motivate and inspire young children in order to encourage their learning; 
  • Be committed to our ethos that all pupils can achieve their personal best at Royds Hall Academy;
  • Have great references demonstrating they are a suitable candidate, safe to work with children.
