Kirklees Council is seeking to fill 2 vacancies in its Transformation and Operational Services teams. The role is to deliver complex change projects for key services affecting Kirklees residents across the district. Priority projects are in Operational Services which includes: management of parks and open spaces, waste and recycling collections, waste disposal, highways, transport, street cleansing, and various others. There is scope to transform services delivered to Kirklees residents - the scale of this challenge requires support from the brightest and best talent in the sector.

You will develop, manage and successfully deliver high valued strategic projects. To do this, you will have a proactive approach to driving progress and problem resolution to enable delivery of targets and outcomes. You will drive the implementation of evidenced strategies, complex research, and provide reports and presentations across the spectrum of Operational Services.

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience of delivering complex projects in a partnership context, within a structured project management process to challenging timelines.

You will also have excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills, the ability to understand and motivate staff, to work with senior managers and Members, and the ability to carry out financial planning and understand, assimilate and communicate complex information.
