A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service in our Employee Resources team, to support and maintain staffing levels to ensure adequate fire cover in the West Yorkshire region.

We are looking for candidates who are committed to our vision of making West Yorkshire safer and who demonstrate the values of team, responsibility, integrity, dialogue and learn. As a key member of the Employee Resources Team the postholder will support stations to maintain staffing across the Fire and Rescue Service. 

  • You will have experience of organising staff rotas and implementing staffing and absence policies;
  • You will possess a working knowledge of IT systems;
  • You will be educated to Level 3, A level or equivalent standard;
  • You will be able to work flexibly in relation to the needs of the post.

The post holder will be required to provide standby cover on a rota basis, evenings, weekends and public holidays.  Applicants must have a reliable home internet connection to enable flexible working and home working when on call. The post is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
