We have two new exciting roles in the Intelligence & Performance Service in Kirklees Council. You will be responsible for supporting a new Commission focusing on tackling inequalities in Kirklees and providing them with evidence, intelligence and insights to aid their understanding and decision making. You will be handling and interrogating large and diverse datasets and applying your data analysis and interpretation skills to improve knowledge and awareness of inequalities, particularly regarding protected characteristics and vulnerable groups. Working closely with members of the Commission, other services and external partners you will transform data into intelligence and insights to help solve problems, identify needs and opportunities and assess impacts and outcomes.
You will have access to modern intelligence and analytical tools such as Tableau and have the opportunity to work closely with great people in our existing teams. Kirklees is set in the heart of West Yorkshire with two major centres of Huddersfield and Dewsbury. Well placed for transport links, the North's leading cities, including Leeds and Manchester, can easily be reached within half an hour. Kirklees Council is at the start of an exciting journey to become intelligence-led, to inform and support the delivery of the Kirklees Outcomes. Our new Intelligence and Performance Service is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of research, consultation, intelligence, performance and data analytics professionals who support and promote intelligence and insight informed decisions across the Council and partners.
Assessments/ interviews will take place w/c 8 Feb via MS Teams.
