We are seeking to appoint to two influential senior analytical roles that are part of the council's Business Intelligence team supporting Adult Social Care. You will provide strategic intelligence that will be used by senior management in the council and the various partnerships in Kirklees to drive improved outcomes for our residents.

Role 1: We are looking for a self-starter with excellent analytical and communication skills to work on an exciting new demand and capacity project. The role will involve working closely with the project team in Adults, provide key data analysis working across operational teams, reporting and modelling to support the benefit realisation workstream. The programme will run for 2 years and this post is offered on a fixed term contract basis for 24 months.

Role 2: We are also seeking an individual to help lead the analytics team on a permanent basis. The role will involve development and oversight of our Business Intelligence products (currently tableau), developing and maintaining our routine performance reporting and data warehouse, provide specialist analytical support for junior members of the team and deputise for the Business Intelligence Lead.

Both roles will be responsible for handling & interrogating large and complex datasets that support the Adult Services Intelligence function. You will also be a data translator and be confident in communicating with both internal & external customers.  Preference is for candidates with some experience of adult social care, but this is not essential.

Kirklees Council is at the start of an exciting journey to become intelligence-led, to inform and support the delivery of the Kirklees Outcomes. Our new Intelligence and Performance Service is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of research, consultation, intelligence, performance and data analytics professionals who support and promote intelligence and insight informed decisions across the Council and partners.
