Do you have a keen eye for detail, a knack for problem solving, a of love spreadsheets and enjoy working autonomously?

If so, you could be involved in delivering a ground-breaking, multi-million pound project to create apprenticeships in Kirklees. Kirklees Council has teamed-up with Kirklees College,  University of Huddersfield and Kirklees Active Leisure to deliver an exciting new initiative.

Employers will receive support to use apprenticeships for skills planning, retraining staff and to achieve a high performing workforce. The project will aim to create quality training opportunities at all levels and age group within the workforce, especially those who feel left behind.

The project to the end of 2023 will promote awareness of the apprenticeship levy and standards, help employers with diagnostic assessments, train supervisors and support employees to access opportunities.

As a Contract Compliance Manager you will have responsibility for ESF contract compliance and claims, delivery monitoring, financial reporting and collating evidence.

You will have experience of funding compliance, managing relationships with stakeholders and be able to set-up effective contract management and monitoring processes. You will also be line managing an Apprentice in the team so great communication and leaderships kills are required.

Flexible working hours will be considered.

The project is part funded by ESF (European Social Fund) and therefore the role is funded by ESF. ESF funds help local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, skills development, job creation, social inclusion and local community regenerations.
