To commence as soon as possible after Easter and on a fixed term basis subject to the future budgetary provision or the operational needs of the school. 

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to become part of the team at Meltham CE Primary School, where we aim to deliver the very best educational experiences for pupils across the Reception and primary age range.

We are looking to appoint an ETA for Inclusion and Behaviour to work in Year 1 to help promote our school values within a nurturing, calm and purposeful ethos where children are challenged academically, supported pastorally and developed socially and emotionally.

The role

The role will be to successfully motivate, inspire, engage and make connections with children in a Year 1 cohort. You will support the established team with SEMH and SEND needs across the year group. 

You will assist in the delivery of lessons to pupils in a group and also support pupils on a 1:1 basis (both in and out of the classroom environment) to re-focus pupils in learning and engagement. You will be key in the development of pupils’ essential skills and emotional resilience in a stimulating and supportive environment.

You will be required to work imaginatively and in partnership with parents and carers, teaching and support staff and other professionals in order to achieve the very best outcomes for the pupils. You will be integral to the success of the pupils at Meltham CE Primary School and help support children’s academic and pastoral needs.
