Castle Grange is a purpose built home registered to provide 24-hour residential and respite care, both short and long stay, for adults who suffer from dementia.

As a Domestic Assistant you will work shifts on a 7-day rota system including weekends and Public Holidays.  The hours are 8.00am until 1.00pm and 12.30pm until 5.30pm.

Your main duties will be to do the laundry. You will also carry out cleaning duties and have some physical care tasks for people with physical, visual or hearing difficulties under the direction of a senior member of staff. 

You should have the ability to demonstrate literacy skills in order to read and follow instructions and an understanding of practical hygiene issues relating to the kitchen and other areas.
