We are looking to recruit 1 person for this role.

Kirklees Council Legal Services is one of the largest legal practices in the area and is responsible for providing and commissioning the legal work required by Kirklees Council and partner organisations.

We are looking for motivated lawyers to work on a range of procurements, contracts, and commercial matters.

You will, advise on procurements, draft tender documentation, contracts and other commercial documents, and advise on commercial law and projects.

You should be a confident, skilled and enthusiastic lawyer with a “can do” commercial approach. You must be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister holding a current practising certificate, or a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives or equivalent.

You could be about to qualify, newly qualified or more experienced – training and support will be available to less experienced candidates. Local government experience not essential.
