The successful candidate will deliver our digital and data strategy, setting the direction that digital investment will take to support the way we transform and deliver our service to our staff, partners, and community.  The strategy is focused on equipping our business with the right systems, technology, and data to support the aim of making West Yorkshire Safer.

As the Head of ICT, you will provide senior strategic leadership and management in all matters relating to ICT. Fulfilling the role of the “Intelligent Client” in managing the performance of the ICT teams and in representing the Fire Authority’s interest in all matters relating to ICT.

You will have proven experience working in a senior ICT role within an environment of comparable scale and complexity, be flexible and adaptable, with an extensive knowledge of major change programmes. You will be Educated to degree level in an ICT related subject or equivalent professional qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.

Applicants must also have a car available for work purposes with valid business insurance and a reliable home internet connection.
