An exciting opportunity has arisen within Venue Management the service area covers many Commercial Services these include Bereavement Services, Schools Traded Services, Corporate Cleaning and Caretaking, Town Halls and Community Buildings and Commercial Development. The Role is based within the Directorate for Environment and Climate Change.

The role of Operational Manager within Venues is about working with residents, businesses, communities and partners to provide a safe and successful environment in which people can live and work safely and businesses can thrive and grow. You will have a key role supporting the Head of Service in determining strategies to drive forward key service development and new initiatives. You will need to have an understanding of wider strategic ambitions and influencing agenda’s to be the Directorate lead on Commercial Services, Facility Management, Health and Safety and Service Development and have the expertise to provide leadership to your team and to other teams.   You will be expected to exemplify our ‘We’re Kirklees’ ways of delivering high performing services and in your approach and support to teams.

Shortlisting will take place 17th December, and interviews will take place 11th January which will include a presentation or exercise
