Our school is looking to appoint an inspirational and passionate headteacher to build on our strengths and to ensure that we achieve the best outcomes for every child.  We are looking for a leader who has the ability to ensure the school achieves excellence across all aspects of school life and who will lead us to our ultimate goal of being an outstanding provider of Early Years and Infant education.

We are a 3-form entry Infant and Nursery school which admits eligible 2 and 3-year-olds. The school is situated in a predominantly Asian community with 330 children on roll.  The vast majority of our pupils are multilingual learners which is an asset to the school. We are seeking an inclusive leader who will promote innovation and a progressive approach to teaching and learning.

You will:

  • be an experienced senior leader who is able to demonstrate a successful track record of ensuring that the quality of teaching and learning is consistently good or better, embedding a culture of high aspiration for all children’s success in Early Years and Key Stage 1
  • be a determined and resilient professional who is able to motivate, enthuse and inspire others and is passionate about developing staff and providing opportunities for growth.
  • be committed to the school’s culture of inclusivity whilst simultaneously driving up standards, demonstrating ambition for all pupils
  • enjoy shaping and delivering a broad, balanced, innovative and creative curriculum
  • have an understanding of our community’s context and have the ability to connect with the families and pupils who attend.

Our children would like you:

  • to be kind and to have a sense of fun
  • to treat them fairly and to respect them
  • to teach them well and keep them safe.

We can offer you:

  • a welcoming, friendly and happy environment, with a committed, experienced, talented and dedicated team of staff
  • committed governors who will challenge and support you
  • supportive parents who want the best for their children
  • hard working and happy pupils.

We believe that every child is an important member of our community and should be encouraged and challenged to achieve their full potential. We believe in learning through play and experiences, as well as developing children’s talents across the curriculum, with creativity at the heart of what we do.

We aim for each child to develop the skills they need to take their place in the wider community and intend that by the time they leave us, each child will have developed the skills and self-confidence they need to make a successful start at Junior school.

We would be proud to show you around so you can see for yourself the tremendous potential the school offers. To arrange a covid-secure visit to our school, please contact our School Business Manager on 01924 326718 to arrange a suitable time to visit our school.
