The Job 

The main requirement of a Team Leader is to have overall responsibility for the management of an operational team within the Neighbourhoods Directorate. As a proactive Team Leader, the post holder will lead and manage a customer focused, holistic housing management service, ensuring high performance and excellent service delivery in areas such as income management, customer support and information services and tenancy management. By co-ordinating the work of their service area, Team Leaders will also ensure resources are available where and when they are needed. The post holder will deliver effective line management to staff, including the provision of support and guidance in managing caseloads and queries. 

The postholder will be required to deputise for the General Manager and other Team Leaders as and when required.
