As this post is to support a Reception pupil with SEND, this position will be on a fixed term contract subject to the child being on roll in school.

£16,625 - £19,952 (Based on 32.5 hours per week)

Jobs Available 

2 x Part Time:

1 x 17 hours (Monday and Tuesday 8:30am – 3:30pm, and Wednesday 8:30am – 1:00pm with 30 minutes for lunch each day)

1 x 15.5 hours (Wednesday 1:00pm – 3:30pm and, Thursday and Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm with 30 minutes for lunch on Thursday and Friday)

Other options could be considered.

OR

1 x Full Time Considered (Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm with 30 minutes for lunch)


 

Holme Junior and Infant School are looking to appointment enthusiastic, caring and organised 1:1 Educational Teaching Assistants for a pupil with SEND from September 2023

We are seeking to appoint highly skilled and motivated members of staff to work as part of a team supporting a child in our Reception/Year 1/Year 2 Class with an Education Health and Care Plan.

If you are:

  • Experienced in working with children with communication and interaction needs in an early years setting
  • Able to support children in developing their self-care needs to become independent young people
  • Looking to work in a supportive team where ongoing training is prioritised
  • Able to have a positive attitude and a child focused approach to meeting children’s individual needs
  • A motivated, hardworking and resilient practitioner
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Looking to develop or begin your career in a school setting
  • Someone who can take initiative and be innovative
  • Willing to become involved in all aspects of school life
  • Wanting to work school hours with school holidays!
