Then Independent Living Officer could be the role for you. 

Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing (KNH) manages approximately 22, 000 homes on behalf of Kirklees Council, including letting properties, rent collection, repairs and maintenance of those properties.

KNH has 19 Retirement Living Schemes across Kirklees providing accommodation to residents over the age of 60. 

As an Independent Living Officer, you will be part of a flexible team, enabling residents to remain independent, as well as keeping our buildings safe through regular site health and safety checks. 

To give you a better understanding of the role we have included a “day in the life of an independent living officer” along with the job description and person specification. 

The role involves both site based and home based working due to current Covid 19 situation. These arrangements may change in response to Government Guidance.
