This job is part of our Business Support job family, which is a key role in supporting our team to deliver high quality services.  You will contribute to the effective running of the Kirklees Safeguarding Children’s Partnership (KSCP) with your first class and efficient administrative support skills.

Specifically you will support the administration of the Child Safeguarding Practice Review work and actively manage and monitor data being supplied by agencies in respect of the Child Death Overview Panel.

You will work as part of a team within the KSCP providing business support to the KSCP Business Manager and other staff to help us to achieve our vision to be a strong inclusive Partnership

This role is based within Kirklees Children’s and Families, Resources, Improvement and Partnerships Directorate.

As part of the job you will be required to:

  1. To deal with all administration aspects of business support in relation to the Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (CSPR) Sub group. Take minutes and prepare for the meetings
  2. Administration support for Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP) meetings.
  3. To prepare case papers in a timely manner for presentation at the CDOP panel meeting.
  4. To assist in the administration of the production of a CDOP Annual report .
  5. To develop and circulate a quarterly CDOP newsletter to the CDOP Partners .
  6. To deal with invoices for payment as they arrive in the office and to deal with any queries arising from these.
  7. To assist the Business Manager in any other pieces of work requested.
  8. To assist in the office on a daily basis with telephones and inbox queries.
