Orchard View Residential Home is open seven days per week, including Public Holidays. Our Deputy Manager must be available to work weekends, evening and the occasional Public Holiday.

At Orchard View Residential Home we can accommodate up to eight young people who are permanently disabled. The Deputy Manager is responsible for the effective co-ordination of the service within a residential unit ensuring that a high quality service is provided to all children and young people within policy objectives and statutory requirements and Children’s Homes Regulations including Quality Standards.

Part of your role will be to develop positive working relationships with partner agencies and other services to provide the best possible outcomes for young people in our care. You will also work towards ensuring that the young people’s needs are met and that they are supported to ensure they reach their full potential.

You must have proven experience of working in a setting relevant to children and young people, together with knowledge of relevant legislation, Quality Standards and Government guidelines relating to children and young people, particularly in a residential setting.
